Hey,
I’m Syed Fazle Farhan, a Project Manager and economist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a passion for turning economic ideas into real-world impact. With a Master’s in Economics and years of experience in banking, business development, and public policy, I’ve dedicated my career to finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
Right now, I’m leading the University Innovation Hub Program, a World Bank-funded initiative that’s helping build a thriving startup ecosystem across the country. Working alongside experts and partners, I get to foster entrepreneurship and innovation—two things I believe are key to driving progress. I also bring expertise in economic analysis, data-driven decision-making, and international collaboration, supported by tools like STATA and Python that help me make sense of the bigger picture.
In the past, I worked as a banker and researcher, managing high-volume financial transactions and developing fresh perspectives on global economic trends. Outside of work, public speaking is one of my biggest passions, and I’ve been fortunate to win multiple awards for debating and speaking—a skill I love sharing with others as a coach and mentor.
I’m driven by a desire to create positive, meaningful change, whether it’s through economic development, innovation, or empowering the people I work with. For me, it’s all about making a difference where it matters most.
